Q. Why should I register with NADSR?
 

A. North American Dog Sports and Registry was founded with the idea of promoting obedience, workability, health and owner/canine relationship. NADSR is an alternative to other registries because we give the owners and their dogs the opportunity and means to build a strong respectful relationship If you choose to start a dog club or participate in one that is already established, NADSR requires that you register your dog with us. With your registration, we will be able to keep up with your progress in your chosen event and issue TITLES to your dog for a job well done. Individuals, breeders, kennels, 4H groups, dog clubs and rescue shelters are all invited to register and participate.

Registered canines will receive an 8 ½ x 11 certificate with a gold border and the NADSR Logo, a picture of the dog and up to a four-generation pedigree.
Things that are available on the pedigree include, name, sex, date of birth, breeder, owner, titles earned (from NADSR or other events), registration number, microchip number, breed, color and bloodline.

 
Q. What Do I have to do to register? Can I register on-line?
 

A. We do not support online registration at this time, but just follow these simple steps:

2. Print it out and fill it in.

3. Get a quality photograph of your pet.

4. Put it all in an envelope with your check or money order and send it to:

To register a litter of puppies you may call 225-777-4146 or email nadsr@nadsr.com with the following information
  • Dam name and registration number
  • Sire name and registration number
  • Date of Birth of litter
  • Number of pups in the litter
  • Your name, address and phone number.

Q. Where do I register in person?
 

A. Our offices are not open to the public; However, you are always invited to register at any of our events. We'll always have everything on hand.


Q. How much does it cost to register?
 

A. NADSR has three pricing options

  • $15.00 For an 8.5 x 11 Registration Certificate (up to a 4 generation Pedigree if available).
  • $10.00 for a Photo ID Card
  • $20.00 for both Registration Certificate and Photo ID Card.
